About Lyn T. Arcari

Creative and Sensible Solutions

I am naturally drawn to finding creative yet sensible solutions to problems.  I believe in collaboration and cooperation.  Once we understand the issues, they are easier to resolve.  We have the power to solve our own problems and armed with the right knowledge, we can achieve satisfactory results together.  When we are faced with a family law issue, my first analysis involves the family dynamic itself while keeping in mind the legal perspective when trying to propose solutions.

I began my career in a small Boston boutique law firm before moving into the legal department at MIT Lincoln Laboratory.  I excelled in law school and graduated at the top of my class and won several distinctions in my first year (best oral argument, honorable mention brief, runner up in the American Bar Association Negotiation Competition).  In June 2003, I started my own practice in order to have some flexibility with raising my young family.  I continue to supplement my training with continuing legal education, mediation and collaborative law seminars as well as staying involved in many bar associations and law related activities.
